Two boats carrying a total of 93 sub-Saharan and North African have been intercepted off the coast of Andalucia and the occupants transported to the port of Motril.
The first boat was intercepted on Saturday night about 21 miles off the coast of Granada. there were 51 passengers on board including 5 women and a ten year old boy.
The second boat was intercepted at dawn about 8 miles off Sacratif with 42 people on board. It is thought that there could be six minors amongst the passengers but this has yet to be confirmed.
