As from next week and throughout April and May, the Antequera food market will also open on Friday afternoons.
Most of the traders have already agreed to open in the afternoon as well as the regular mornings and it is hoped that the rest will follow suit.
The initiative is seen as a test and after May it will be up to the traders to decide whether to continue with the afternoon opening.
During the spring campaign in Antequera, there will be numerous activities taking place in plaza San Francisco, plaza Fernández Viagas and calle Duranes which should benefit the market traders.
