Workers of the transport company Linesur in Sevilla begin strike action today and it will continue until April 13th.
The workers are protesting against the non-payment of wages, many owed from November 2011 onwards.
The strike will affect 37 municipalities and will also have repercussions for three Metropolitan Transport Consortium lines, M-105 (Albaida del Aljarafe-Bormujos), M-174 (Sevilla-Castilleja de Guzmán-Valencina) and M-175 (Sevilla-Castilleja de Guzmán-Valencina de la Concepción-Salteras-Olivares-Albaida del Aljarafe).
School bus services will not be affected but minimum services will be in place for the rest, with an anticipated 30% service in the case of municipalities without a rail connection and 20% for those with an alternative rail connection.
