A 21 year old student who suffered a stab wound to the chest as a result of an argument with a neighbour over noise levels during the Real Madrid – Bayern Munich Champions League match is now in a stable condition in the Carlos Haya hospital in Málaga.
Around midnight on Wednesday, a group of students in the Cónsul district of Málaga had an argument with an upstairs neighbour who accused them of making too much noise during the football match. After the argument subsided, the neighbour then apparently leaned out of his window and began berating the students once more.
As tempers flared, one of the students then went up to talk to the neighbour but was stabbed in the chest with a kitchen knife.
The assailant has been identified by the police but has not yet been apprehended as they cannot locate him.
