The upcoming course for the Food Handling Certificate has proven so popular that all fifty available places were taken within a few days. However, people should still continue to enrol as the Council is planning to expand the project with a second course.
The course, run by local company APLITEX, will result in the obtaining of the so-called ‘high risk’ Food Handling Certificate which has no expiration. The certificate is a prerequisite for anyone wishing to work with food. The course costs €15 and applications can be made at the offices of Andalucía Orienta, edificio UPEDEN, plaza Balcón de Europa, portal 1, 1D.
