Today sees the start of the I Ruta de la Tapa in Torre del Mar organised by the Association of Merchants and Entrepreneurs and featuring a number of prizes.
There are 16 establishments taking part and the price of a drink plus tapa has been set at €1.80. Tapas ‘passports’ are available and these can be filled in at each participating establishment.
There will be a raffle amongst all participants for a top prize of €500 as well as 16 prizes of meals for two. The Ruta de la Tapa continues until May 31st and completed passports can be delivered to the Municipal Tourist Office in Torre del Mar or the offices of the Association of Merchants and Entrepreneurs before June 8th with the prize draw taking place on June 11th.
Participants will also be awarding points, one to five, for each establishment they visit and the winning location will be awarded a commemorative plaque.
