A 26 year old man was arrested in Madrid on Wednesday after allegedly killing his parents. After killing his parents, the man then hurled himself off the balcony in an apparent suicide attempt but only suffered bruising as it was a first floor apartment.
The incident occurred at around 15:00 on Wednesday afternoon in calle Sierra de Alcubierre in Alcorcón, Madrid, neighbours reporting a man lying in the street.
The police arrived on the scene and the man admitted to killing his parents. Police found the bodies of 74 year old José María P.B. and 69 year old María F.S. in the apartment. The alleged assailant, 26 year old Miguel P.F., was arrested and transferred to hospital under guard.
Miguel P.F. looked after his parents who were not in the best of health. His mother had recently undergone hip surgery and his father was suffering from dementia and was wheelchair-bound.
