A judge in Cádiz has authorised the first exhumation in the province relating to a possible ‘stolen baby’ case.
The exhumation, carried out under a court order, will take place at the San José cemetery with only the family present.
The grave is supposed to be the final resting place of a baby who died in 1977 at the old Residencia Zamacola hospital. The mother has also denounced irregularities relating to the death of another of her children in 1982 at the same hospital.
The remains will be analysed with the costs being borne by the State.
