The new Andalucian regional government of José Antonio Griñán has held its first meeting and announced an immediate ‘Agenda for Jobs’ including a ‘Crash Plan’ worth €200 million to be launched before the summer.
The Crash Plan, with a budget of around €200 million, aims to generate employment in such areas as reforestation, environmental regeneration and housing renovation and to expand the Plan de Oportunidades Laborales (OLA) relating to improvements to educational facilities.
The government also claims that in the ‘first hundred days’ of the new legislature they are committed to creating employment and stimulating economic growth in the region.
