The Consumer Price Index in Andalucia rose by 1.5% in April due mainly to price rises in the clothing and footwear sector (+10.4%) and drinks and tobacco (+3%).
The interannual inflation rate for Andalucia now stands at 1.8% with the national rate at 2.1%.
By province, the CPI in April rose 2% in Jaén, 1.7% in Cordoba, 1.6% in Cádiz and Granada, 1.5% in Almería and 1.4% in Huelva, Malaga and Sevilla.
At the end of April, the provincial inflation rates are: Malaga with 2.1%, Cordoba and Huelva with 2.0%, Jaén with 1.8%, Almería , Cadiz and Granada with 1.7% and Sevilla with 1.6% Seville.
