Two La Liga games with nothing at stake as far as relegation and European placings were concerned were brought forward to Saturday evening.
Griezmann scored the only goal of the match as Real Sociedad beat third placed Valencia 1-0. It was the last game in charge for Valencia coach Unai Emery.
Similarly, it was Pep Guardiola’s final La Liga match as coach of Barcelona and he watched his side draw 2-2 with Betis. Guardiola still has the Copa del Rey final against Athletic Bilbao before departing for pastures new.
Barcelona took the lead through a Busquets header but Ruben Castro scored twice in quick succession after Dani Alves was given his marching orders and it wasn’t until the 92nd minute that Keita levelled the scores.
