The 53rd International Festival of Music and Dance takes place at the Nerja Caves between July 17th and July 22nd and appearing on the bill are the Salzburg Orchester Soliste, Flamenco artists Antonio El Pipa and Lola Greco, the Orquesta Barroca de Sevilla, the Ballet Ruso, Pasión Vega and the Comediants with a performance of the musical Perséfone.

A novelty this year is likely to be the availability of tickets, usually like gold dust. They will be on sale online via the Cuevas de Nerja website and in person at the Nerja Museum in Plaza de España.
The tickets will be cheaper than in previous years, ranging from €25 to €40.
The budget for the festival has been reduced by 35% from €440,000 to €285,000 while attempting to maintain the same high quality of acts.
