Guardia Civil offivers have arrested a 50 year old man who allegedly attacked and injured the Local Police Chief with an axe in Torredonjimeno, Jaén.
The detainee allegedly hit the Police Chief on the head and then attempted to hit him again, but the officer shielded the blow with his arm.
The incident occurred when Local Police intervened during a ‘botellón’ in the town, during which there were apparently several incidents. The Local Police had to call for support from the Guardia Civil to control the situation.
