I have never really thought about them or even contemplated their existence, let alone seen one. Wonder how much they cost?
Hardly seen any mossies in the house for several years now but the past few days…OMG. Getting bitten to pieces.
So, Spain has bowed to the inevitable and asked for a bailout. Well, ‘financial assistance’ according to the politicians, a ‘bailout’ being something which only happens to other countries.
The amount of the ‘assistance’ has already moved from an initial €40 billion to €100 billion in one mighty leap (they must be using the Bankia system of financial accounting) and there are those who believe the final figure could be anywhere between €350 and €650 billion in total.
I suppose it will depend upon how much toxic debt, over-valued property portfolios and other items are suddenly ‘discovered’ buried in the woodwork.
Times are obviously hard.
