Two forest fires within twenty-four hours in Huelva province, one near Beas and the other near Villablanca.
The first blaze began on Friday in the mountains near Beas and several homes were evacuated as a precautionary measure. The fire destroyed about 200 hectares of land.
The second blaze began on Saturday in the Camino del Rosal area of Villablanca. The fire began in an orange grove and then spread to surrounding scrub and grass land. Firefighters managed to control the fire fairly quickly and work is now going on to extinguish it and ensure that it does not start up again.
