The PP has put forward a proposal in the Andalucian Parliament to request the creation of a working group to analyse the current situation of the various tram systems in the region and provide solutions to ensure their operation and viability.
Proposed tram projects for Jerez de la Frontera, Córdoba and Almería never saw the light of day.
Tram projects in Chiclana, Alcalá de Guadaíra, Aljarafe and Dos Hermanas were started but were subsequently stopped for various reasons.
The tram project in Jaén was completed but did not begin operating.
The tram project in Vélez-Málaga was completed, began operating but was subsequently suspended due to ever declining passenger numbers and huge losses.
Sounds like not enough work to keep one person gainfully occupied, let alone a whole ‘working group’.
