A 66 year old man suffered smoke inhalation as the result of a fire last night in his home in calle Chaparil.
The fire started at around 00:15 in the kitchen of the apartment in calle Chaparil, Nerja, and the smoke spread to the rest of the building, prompting the evacuation of the block as a precautionary measure.
The residents were able to return to their homes at around 01:45.
