A Royal Caribbean cruise ship, returning to Málaga after a week at sea, last night pickled up 19 Moroccan immigrants, including eight children and a pregnant woman, off the coast of Almeria.
The cruise ship spotted the small boat carrying the immigrants at around 21:00 and brought them to the port of Málaga, arriving at 06:00 this morning.
The Red Cross were on hand to offer assistance, although the passengers were all in apparent good health, as were the Guardia Civil who will now begin the repatriation process.
