Los Bilbainos in calle Alejandro Bueno never changes, and long may the situation continue. Popped in for a glass of local wine – chose Málaga sweet this time, but they also have Arenas, Canillas, Frigiliana and Competa wines from the barrel.
I even opted to try it chilled, which made a pleasant change, especially in the heat. As a tapa I had aubergine which, although it may not look exactly ‘Cordon Bleue’ in the photo (more like Gordon Bennet), it was nevertheless delicious.
A large glass of wine and a tapa, €1.40, which is good value these days in anyone’s book.
Another great thing about Los Bilbainos is that you can take along a plastic bottle and get it filled with the wine of your choice.
