The Moroccan ambassador to UNESCO, Aziza Bennani,, has been enjoying the sights and sounds of summer during a private visit to Nerja.
Aziza Bennan was born in Rabat and wrote her doctoral thesis on the imaginary world of Carlos Fuentes. She is the author of numerous works in Spanish, Arabic and French relating to Spanish/Moroccan and Spanish/American civilisation and literature as well as on the rights of women.
She has served as Dean of the Faculty of Literature and Humanities at the University of Hassan II, High Commissioner for the Disabled and Secretary of State for Culture in Morocco.
