Defending champions Spain are through to the final of the Davis Cup after David Ferrer’s win over John Isner gave them a 3-1 victory in Gijon. Bob and Mike Bryan beat Marcel Granollers and Marc Lopez in Saturday’s doubles to keep the tie alive after Spain had won the opening two singles but Ferrer sealed Spain’s victory by beating Isner 6-7 6-3 6-4 6-2 on Sunday. Spain will face either Argentina or Czech Republic in November’s final.
