Restaurants and bars in the centre of town – Plaza Cavana, Plaza Balcón de Europa, calle Cristo, calle Gloria – are still doing good trade with people waiting patiently for a table at some establishments. This was at around 21:45 on Monday night, and particularly popular were Meson de Julio, Paco Mari, the Round Bar and La Piqueta.
