A Local Police officer has been arrested in connection with the death of Granada lawyer Rosa Cobo Román whose body was found in the trunk of her burned car in Camino de las Vacas, Granada, on Thursday.
Once the police officer had become a suspect, a search and arrest warrant was issued and he was located by Guardia Civil officers in the town of Purullena. In a poor psychological state, the detainee was taken to the hospital in Guadix.
The police officer was a former client of the lawyer and she had been subjected to harassment ever since. Such was her concern that she installed security cameras at her home and in her garage.
Police found traces of blood at the deceased’s home in calle Cádiar. The National Police are now investigating the death.
