A bus operating between Jaén and Granada and carrying thirty passengers caught fire on Sunday morning, the problem apparently originating in the engine, located at the rear of the vehicle.
The incident occurred at 8.10 at km 47.100 on the A-44 between Jaén and Granada. No-one was injured in the incident and passengers were provided with another bus while the firemen put out the fire which, in the meantime, had also spread to nearby scrub land.
