A passenger who lost his iPad on a flight to Los Angeles suddenly remembered that he had downloaded the ‘Find My iPad’ app only days before the flight and activated it to find his tablet. He located it… inside the home of a flight stewardess.
The iPad’s owner said he had downloaded the anti-theft app only days before the flight to Los Angeles and had forgotten about its installation. Wendy Ronelle Dye, 43, a flight attendant for Horizon Air, was arrested in Oregon City and, according to Alaska Airlines, which owns Horizon, Dye was suspended pending the police investigation.
