The assembly of the PSOE in Nerja has elected current spokesman Luis Peña as the new Secretary General, replacing former spokesman and mayoral candidate in 2007 and 2011 Ángel Ramírez. Óscar Jiménez López was elected as Secretary and Ángel Ramírez was elected to the presidency of the PSOE. There was only one candidate list and it was apparently voted for by 100% of the attendees.
