It is the fifth day of the strike by employees of the cleaning concessionaire in Jerez and one infant school in the city has suspended classes due to the inability to meet the minimum standards of hygiene at the centre.
At another school, parents will decide on Monday whether to send their children to classes.
Workers have complained that they do not have the products to adhere to minimum service levels as the Council’s failure to pay the concessionaire means it cannot afford replacement materials.
The Council, on the other hand, are asking for an increase in the minimum service level.
