Dani Pedrosa won a red-flagged MotoGP in Malaysia as rain forced the premature end of the twenty lap race after fourteen laps. Lorenzo, who almost crashed out during the race, came home in second place with Casey Stoner in third.
Lorenzo now leads the championship by twenty-three points.
