As from today, Sunday October 28th, there are no more Iberia planes flying between Jerez and Madrid, this route now neing put in the hands of the airline’s low-cost subsidiaries, Iberia Express and Air Nostrum.
The first flight out of Jerez will now be at 09:15 instead of 07:00, despite the early flight being popular with business executives in Cádiz province. In January, the number of flights to Madrid will be reduced to three per day but will rise to four in February and back to five per day in March ready for the new season.
With the changes, ticket prices will be a bit cheaper, starting at €33 including taxes.
