Every weekend from now until the end of the year, passengers arriving at Málaga airport, the fourth busiest in Spain, will not be able to avail themselves of the information service provided by the ‘Green Jackets’ due to strike action.
AENA, the airport operator, has told the concessionaire providing the information service to reduce its budget by 60% and to adjust working conditions, a measure which will see the workforce reduced by 50%.
The employees, as a result, are carrying out industrial action to try and protect their jobs.
