Two early morning fights on Sunday, one outside a disco in Alhaurín el Grande and the other in Teatinos, Málaga city, left two people with stab wounds and another with head trauma. Two people have so far been detained, including one of the injured.
Officials at the Carlos Haya hospital in Málaga notified the police after two youths, aged 21 years and 24 years arrived at the facility with wounds resulting from a fight. One had a three centimetre stab wound to the abdomen, the other had head trauma.
The police investigation ascertained that the two had been involved in a fight outside a disco in Alhaurín el Grande. One youth had hit the other over the head with a crash helmet and the other had responded by pulling a knife and stabbing the other youth. The knife-wielding youth has been arrested.
In Teatinos, Málaga, a huge brawl involving about fifteen youths ended when one of them had to be admitted to hospital with a stab wound to the abdomen. The assailant had fled the scene but with the help of witnesses, police were later able to make an arrest.
