Popped into The Ship on avenida Mediterraneo, opposite the hotel Riu Monica, for a quick beer and a slice of Dutch apple pie. The Dutch have always made great apple pie. It turned out to be apple crumble on the menu at the moment, just as good.
Delicious. Nicely warmed, but not steaming hot, and served with cream. Very filling, too. Great lunchtime treat. Beer and apple crumble and cream, €3.75.
Very relaxing bar and easy not to notice the time slipping by.
