Sushi Away is a relatively new bar/eatery offering eat in or take away Japanese cuisine so had to give it a try, a bit of a treat. The bar is a bit tucked away in calle Gomex, Nerja, a small side street/alley opposite the side of the iglesia El Salvador – Sabadell bank on one corner, ice cream parlour on the other.
I really hadn’t much of a clue as to what to order, but with a bit of help from the owner, made my choice and waited.
The food is all freshly made to order, so takes a while. The presentation is excellent, down to being presented with Japanese chopsticks. I had California Roll (tuna, cucumber, surimi, sesame, black sesame and wasabi) and Maki with salmon. All washed down with some Japanese Asahi beer.
It made a really nice change and was delicious.
