The Council in Rincón de la Victoria has signed a protocol to improve institutional coordination for the prevention of gender violence and the care for victims, the document being described as ‘pioneering’ in the province.
The document aims to improve coordination between the various institutions, security forces and other organisations in the province ‘to be more efficient, have a single protocol and be more coordinated in the work being done relating to gender violence’.
The protocol is the culmination of work done in the municipality since 2008 when it established the Municipal Information Centre for Women.
