Guardia Civil officers in Pilas, Sevilla, have found the body of a second baby at the home where, on November 9th, the body of a newborn baby was found in a freezer. The latest body was apparently found in a different freezer in the same house.
Did no-one think to check all the freezers after the discovery of the first body?
This latest discovery, like the first, was made by the husband of the woman who is currently being remanded in custody on charges of premeditated murder.
The woman, 34 year old Sara L.H., was arrested after the discovery of the first body. She admitted giving birth to the child but maintains that it was stillborn and denies killing him.
A preliminary autopsy suggests that the baby was born alive and had been in the freezer for seventeen months. The exact cause of death, however, has yet to be determined.
