Twenty-eight provinces, including Cádiz, Málaga and Córdoba, are on alert for snow, rain, rough seas and strong winds for today, Friday November 30th.
The Sierra de Grazalema in Cádiz province and Ronda in Málaga province could see up to four centimetres of snow, and Los Pedroches and La Sierra in Córdoba could receive two centimetres. The snows are widely expected above 600 metres.
Cantabria, Navarra, Extremadura, La Rioja, Asturias, Cádiz, Córdoba, Málaga, Ciudad Real, Avila, León, Palencia, Salamanca, Zamora, Lugo and Ourense are on ‘yellow alert’ for snow. In Huesca, temperatures could drop as low as minus six degrees.
Menorca, Pontevedra, A Coruña, Melilla, Gerona, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura are on alert for heavy seas and high winds are expected in Castellón, Gerona, El Hierro, Gran Canaria, La Gomera, La Palma and Tenerife.
