At the Campeonato de Andalucía de Motonáutica, Copa de Nerja, held on Burriana beach at the weekend, there were some good performances from local riders and teams.
In the ’round about’ F2 class, the winner was local rider Ismael Rojas of the Club Deportivo Motonáutica Nerja. Rojas recently became Spanish champion in this class. In second place was another member of the Club Deportivo Motonáutica Nerja, namely Jonathan Martín from Vélez-Málaga.
In the “jetsky” F1 category, local rider Enrique López from the Club Deportivo Nerja Racing Jet finished in third place. Carlos Aravaca from Granada was the winner.
In the “round-about” F1 category, the winner was the Basque rider Aiztol Arikistain and in the “jetsky” F3 category the winner was Vicente Cano from Murcia.
