Another ten sub-Saharan visitors are now in Tarifa after being intercepted on Sunday morning in the Strait of Gibraltar.
A phone call from Morocco alerted the authorities to the possibility of a number of boats having set off for Spain and an air and sea search was launched. At around 10:00, a single boat carrying ten sub-Saharans was found drifting about 15 miles from Tarifa.
All the passengers were treated for mild hypothermia once they reached dry land before being taken into custody by the National Police.
