Every Sunday, starting on December 16th, the Parque de España in Fuengirola will be home to a new project called ‘Pintura Libre’, whereby artists can display their work to the public without having to pay a fee to the Council for occupying the public thoroughfares.
The Council is looking to promote art and culture and hopes that the initiative will not only result in a meeting place for artists from all over the region but also a tourist attraction. Artists will be able to display and sell their works if they so wish or just use the area to meet or to create another masterpiece.
The official inauguration is on Sunday December 16th and the first session will be from 10:00 to 15:00. Thereafter, artists will be able to use the park every Sunday during the opening hours of the park.
