The cost of electricity is set to rise on January 1st 2013, the TUR ‘Tariff of Last Resort’ going up by around 3%. In addition, users with contracted power consumption of 3 to 10 kilowatts who exceed that figure by more than 10% face a surcharge of between 1% and 8% on their electricity bill.
