With the customary military precision we have all come to expect and accept, the five o’clock Santa procession set off from the Town Hall in calle Carmen at exactly five twenty-eight, a small crowd gathered on the Balcón de Europa in anticipation of being bombarded with boiled sweets. And they were not disappointed.
The Santa Claus – Papa Noel – procession, courtesy of the Lion’s Club of Nerja, has become a regular and much appreciated part of the festive celebrations in Nerja over the past few years.
The procession was led by members of the Nerja Municipal Band.
