Alhaurín de la Torre Council has signed a new agreement with the Provincial Tax Office, a dependency of Málaga Council, relating to the tax collection, management and inspection service which will save the municipality €60,000 (5%) in costs. Much of the savings relate to a reduction in fees by the Tax Office for services carried out on their behalf by the municipalities.
