All parties represented on Torrox Council (PSOE, PP, IU, PIU and PSA) have formally initiated the first ever commission of inquiry in the history of the municipality, the aim being to address the internal and external problems within the Local Police which have been ongoing for several years now.
Closed sessions will take place on Fridays and the commission is expected to deliver its findings in April 2013.
Those expected to appear before the commission include the current Mayor, Francisco Muñoz, former Mayor Toñi Claros, Police Chief José Roque, former Councillors responsible for the Local Police José Pérez and Manuel Palomas and various UPLB, CC OO and UGT union officials.
