Málaga will have to wait until the end of the day to see if they can hang on to fourth place in La Liga after a 1-1 draw with Real Zaragoza on Sunday.
Hélder Postiga put Zaragoza ahead in the 13th minute but Isco managed to equalise from the penalty spot ten minutes later.
Málaga failed to take advantage of greater possession and the fact that Real zaragoza were reduced to ten men after José Mari was ordered from the field.
