Two separate groups have apparently approached Vélez-Málaga Council to obtain plots of land to operate private hospital and a centre for clinical analysis. In addition, land has also been requested by a company wishing to set up a private British college.
The companies are requesting the use of municipal lands in exchange for a fee.
The companies wanting to set up a private hospital and centre for clinical analysis are requesting a minimum of three plots of land between 2,000 and 4,000 square metres.
For the British college, the request is for a plot of between 9,000 and 10,000 square metres. The Council is apparently offering a 9,000 square metre plot in Bavaria Golf, Caleta de Vélez, as being suitable for the project.
