On March 3rd, the Paseo de Larios in Torre del Mar is home to the second Málaga Goat Cheese and Wine Market organised by the collective Axarquía Me Gusta. Also, running in parallel, running from now until March 3rd, is the II Gastronomic Festival of the Suckling Goat in collaboration with the Málaga Association of Goat Breeders.
The Artisan Market will include around thirty companies involved in wine, dairying, sausages, baking and oils amongst other things and takes place from 11:00 to 18:00.
The Gastronomic Festival involves six restaurants, five in Torre del Mar and one in Almayete. In addition, on March 2nd, a visit has been planned to a goat breeding farm in Almayete with a tasting session of wines and goat products to finish, this taking place at the restaurant Lo Pepe Molina.
The cost of the excursion is €29 and those interested in registering should email [email protected]

Hi, we went down to have a look at this market and there was nothing there! We walked the full length of Paseo de Larios – not a sign of anything going on. The article stated from 11.00 to 18.00 and we were there around 14.30. Have we got the day wrong?

The Captain says:
The Artisan market is only on March 3rd, the Gastronomic Festival is apparently the daily occurrence. Apologies for the error.
Lynne says:
Ok that’s fine. Thanks for the quick response. We shall go after church on Sunday.
