The final of the Copa del Rey this year will be an all-Madrid affair after Atlético completed a 4-3 aggregate win over Sevilla on Wednesday evening, Sevilla finishing the match with only nine men.
Diego Costa opened the scoring after just 6 minutes and Falcao made it 2-0 on the half hour mark. Jesús Navas pulled one back for Sevilla just before half time, curling in a long range shot.
With fifteen minutes remaining, Medel managed to pick up two bookings in quick succession and was ordered back to the dressing room. One minute into injury time, Rakitic found the net for Sevilla to level the scores and then two minutes later, Kondogbia was also sent packing from the field of play for an off-the-ball incident.
So, 2-2 on the night but 4-3 to Atlético on aggregate over the two legs.
