A survey of 2,000 users of the website VacacionesEspaña.es saw Nerja and Cambrils sharing top spot as preferred destinations for vacation rentals by Spanish tourists during Easter Week. Both registered 23% and were followed by Conil de la Frontera, Almuñécar and Gandía.
With respect to provinces, the preferences were Málaga (52%), Sevilla (39%), Murcia (5%) and Zamora (4%). The most popular type of accommodation sought by Spanish tourists was villas (53%), while for foreigners it was apartments.
For regions, the preferences were for Andalucía, Cataluña, Islas Canarias, Comunidad Valenciana and Islas Baleares.
