Vélez-Málaga Council has launched a training scheme with 942 places aimed at people aged between 18 years and 35 years to improve the qualifications of young people seeking employment.
Most of the courses are online, although some, such as food handling, use of defibrillators, DJ’s and sign language, do require attending classes.
Four courses are free, the remainder will be a symbolic €1 registration. Application forms can be picked up at the Youth Department, located at the indoor swimming pool, Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 14:00. The deadline for registrations is April 5th.
The courses vary in length from 4 to 60 hours and include: Food Handling, use of defibrillators, DJ, Sign Language, Contaplus, FacturaPlus, Photoshop, Contracts, Payroll, Intermediate English, Elementary German, Web Pages and Web Banners.
