Students from IES Rodríguez Delgado in Ronda have won the provincial final of the First Lego League, this year dedicated to improve the quality of life of the elderly. The First Lego League is an international robotics tournament held annually since 1998.
Over one hundred students aged between 10 years and 16 years took part in the competition, playing with lego bricks and building motorised robots with the aim of improving the quality of life for the elderly. They were judged on a number of criteria and had to overcome a number of challenges set by the organisers.
The winners are now in Barcelona for the national finals, these being held today, Sunday March 17th.
